Commercial

Our roots are in the rooms where downtime costs money.

Riptide started supporting businesses that live and die by refrigeration. That work sets the pace for everything else we do.

Cooling or refrigeration down right now?

After hours emergency service is available. Say it is an emergency when you call.

A cooler is not a comfort system

When a house gets warm, somebody is uncomfortable. When a walk in gets warm, you are counting inventory and deciding what you can legally still sell. The clock runs differently, and so does the way the call has to be handled.

That is the work Riptide was built on: restaurants, convenience stores and groceries where the equipment failing means the business stops earning. We brought that standard to residential rather than the other way round.

Service agreements, written round your hours

Almost every emergency we run had a warning sign that a scheduled visit would have caught while it was still a small number. What that schedule should look like depends on what you run and when you can afford to have somebody in the building. A kitchen that cannot lose a Friday service and a store that trades sixteen hours a day do not want the same plan, and there is no reason to pretend otherwise.

If you run more than one location this is where working both regions matters. An operator with a store in Corpus Christi and another in Round Rock gets one contractor, one service history and one number to call, instead of two vendors who each blame the other.

Tell us what you run and we will write the agreement round it.

There is no standard package to squeeze into. Give us the equipment list and the hours a visit is least disruptive, and we will put terms in front of you.

Two regions, one contractor

Most shops here cover one metro. We run in Corpus Christi and Austin, which means an operator with locations in both gets a single relationship, one set of service history and one number to call. If your town is on the list, the crew is local to it.
